38 participants from 24 member societies gathered in Malta for the Annual ECRRT meeting. The three day programme was chaired by Niru Kolmannskog, Alain Hembise, Philippe Gerson and Gudlaugur Einarsson. The number of participants was one of the largest thanks to the participation of East European Countries. Their participation was made possible through a fare discount from AIR Malta the official carrier and donations from other European countries.

Transposition of European Directives MED 97/43/Euratom

Highlighted difficulties in certain countries.

Clinical Audit in Finland

EU projects

ECRRT Strategic Plan for the coming two years.

New Challenges in Europe – Recognition of professional qualifications, Career Structure with EU for Radiographers, New Challenges in Europe between education and employment policies in health sector (Bologna programme)

A common Code of Ethics for all European countries.

To conclude this successful week, the organisers arranged a marvellous evening at Bacchus Restaurant, with a delicious banquet and great wines from Marsovin. The event was also attended by ECRRT participants and Maltese Radiographers who were also entertained with Maltese culture and three handsome Knights of St.John!!!
